Lines of Action

México is one of the countries with a larger biodiversity and natural recourses in the world. None the less, lack of interest, abuse, corruption, misinformation and the lack of a good and solid environmental education has put our country’s resources at risk. Televisa faces this problem with the implementation of a large multiplatform strategy under the concept: Televisa Verde.

 

Televisa Verde will enclose our company’s efforts to increase television viewers’ awareness about the importance of preserving ecosystems and natural recourses; and offering very simple solutions, easy to apply in everyday life.s

Being congruent with this project, we start from the inside, implementing initiatives that include our coworkers and their families in programs of environmental education, such as adequate use of water, garbage recycling, reforestation, and certification as a Clean Company, among others.

 

To achieve the conservation of the environment, we have campaigns directed to our audiences in all of the available platforms:
-An Internet portal
-Informative spots
-News cast coverage
-Awareness campaigns
-Soap Operas with a cause
-Alliances
-Programs with environmental contents
-Editorial contents
-Support to organizations and green events
-Mexican Football National Team Green Goals

 

The environment needs our help, and in Televisa we are willing to assume the responsibility.
