Aliances that build

In Fundación Televisa we are aware that the housing problem in Mexico requires immediate attention, since having a safe and adequate house undoubtedly improves the life conditions of those who inhabit it, and therefore procures a safe environment that reinforces integrity, and promotes family union.

 

“Alliances that Build” is the housing program developed in conjunction with Fideicomiso ProVivah and Fundacion ARA A.C. In 2008 Sabritas sponsored the construction of 1,000 houses, in addition to their help in “Goals for Mexico” and “Voices with a Cause”.

 

Allies:
-Sabritas, Fundacion ARA A.C. and Fundación Televisa grant the resources for the construction of the houses.
- Fideicomiso ProVivah grants resources, selects the families and supervises the construction.
-Cementos Holcim-Apasco donates the mortar

For the 2007 and 2008 programs, the Government of the State of Hidalgo granted the infrastructure necessary for the construction of 20 houses in five days.

 

Results:
“Alliances that build” allowed for 2,346 families to have proper housing in the states of Baja California Sur, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Hidalgo, Michoacán y Tamaulipas.
