To fight not only the consequences, but the causes of many of the problems that ail our society, we implement high impact media campaigns that emphasize values such as dignity, citizen participation, unity, family, forgiveness, gratitude, perseverance, honesty, generosity and responsibility.
To complement this we edit a school calendar dedicated to values, a manual for teachers and a book on values.
Calendar
The values calendar is designed as a pedagogical tool to complement the book, allowing teachers and students to meditate on the importance of values.
Responding to the suggestions of many school teachers, the Manual for teachers was developed.

For this program Fundacion Televisa had the council of the Ministry of Public Education and the sponsorship of Scribe, Kimberly-Clark of Mexico, Bimbo and Fundación Alfredo Harp Helú A.C.
The “Comisión Nacional de Libros de Textos Gratuitos” (National Free Books Committee) (CONALITEG) was in charge of distributing the books.
Results:
Since 2004, 2,200,000 free copies have been distributed to all the primary private and public schools in the country.
According to the survey applied by “Valora S.C.” the activities taking place more than
once a month in the school rooms are:
57.85% read the written phrase
42.5% discuss the section “Reflexiona”
37.7% read the story
51.8% of the children remember the stories
71% of the children involved in the survey say that the values help them “live with one another”
The Book of Values
Living the values was developed to complement the activities in the school rooms described in the Values Calendar.
The book meditated on human values through fables, legends, stories and illustrations. With a simple language, directed to children, parents and teachers the Book of Values 2008-2009 brings us close to the values of: action, attitude, love and friendship, compassion, communication, conscience, conviction, culture, discipline, school, ethics, success, family, happiness, humanity, humility, independence, intelligence, loyalty, nature, patience, patriotism, peace, forgiveness, person, health, society, work and urbanity.

The book was made possible trough the sponsorship of Scribe, the Ford Distributors Association, Bimbo and Fundación Alfredo Harp Helú A.C. Thanks to the sponsors the book has a distribution cost of $25.00 pesos.
Results:
Since 2004, 1,170,000 copies have been distributed.
