Touchdowns with a cause - Hearing aids

The National Football League, through the Mexican NFL and Fundación Televisa renew their alliance so that professional American Football benefits Mexico’s childhood and youth, through the donation of media school rooms. Because of this, the project “Touchdowns with a cause” has been implemented in the 2006-2007 season of the  NFL.

 

Program Objective:
For Fundación Televisa improving the quality of life and maximizing the improvement opportunities for our children and adults with hearing problems is of great importance. Because of this we have programs specifically directed to helping children of low income families, giving them the hearing aids they require.

 

How we help:

For every touchdown during the play-offs and he National and American Confederation Championships, corresponding to the final stage of the 2006-2007 season of the league, NFL Mexico and Fundación Televisa will donate two hearing aids to three low income children that require them.

 

Results:

We hope to benefit 200 children with hearing problems. The total number of hearing aids will depend on the touchdowns scored. The hearing aids will be donated in Cuernavaca, Morelos between January 25th and February 6 of this year.
