In Fundación Televisa we are aware of the importance of having a support system that guarantees quality health care for people with hearing weakness and access to the technological recourse that enable them to become integrated into society and the different degrees of education. For this we have programs which, through sports, and citizen participation focus in procuring hearing aids for children of low income families, which will help them develop in an integral fashion. Goals for Mexico (Hearing Aids), the Televisa Deportes 10 Km. Race and the Mc Donald’s Children’s World Day.

 

Program Objectives:
For Fundación Televisa improving the quality of life and maximizing the improvement possibilities for our children and adults with hearing weakness is of great importance. Because of this we have programs specifically directed to helping children of low income families, giving them the hearing aids they require.

 

 

How we help:
November 20th is Children’s World Day, since 2004 Fundacion Televisa and the Ronald Mc Donald Foundation acquire hearing aids with the money raised during this day.

 

-Fundación Televisa and The Ronald Mc Donald’s Foundation grant the recourses to acquire the hearing aids.
-The Gabinete Audiologico Audios (Audiological Cabinet Audios) and Fundacion Venga y Oiga (Come and Hear Foundation) raise additional funds for hearing aids.
- The Instituo de la Comunicacion Humana (Institute of Human Comunication) make the diagnosis and follow up on each of the beneficiaries
