Participating Banks

The heart of the program lays on the voluntary donations of millions of people who donate through ATM machines. To concentrate these donations the support of the Mexican Bank Association and participating banks has been crucial, they generously offer their ATM network for these transactions to take place.

The collaboration of the banking institutions doesn’t stop there. Each participating bank, the Mexican Bank Association and Fundación Televisa make independent donations from their own recourses to increase the amount of the collection. At present Bécalos has the support of 23 banks and financial institutions: BBV Bancomer, Banorte, Santander, HSBC, Banamex, Scotiabank, Compartamos Banco, Consupago, Ve por más, Ixe, Banco Interacciones, JP Morgan, Monex, Invex, American Express Bank, Visa, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Banco del Bajío, Inbursa, Multiva, Banregio, Banco Ahorro Famsa and Bansi.

At present there are 29,843 ATM machines collecting donations all through México and the amount keeps growing as the banks networks increase.

With the donations that each person makes, within their own capacities, the ATM machine users are transforming thousands of lives and building a more equitative and safer country.
